Dr. Steve Cha
Dr. Cha is a dentist near Anna who is originally from South Korea but moved to the United States when he was 12. Before becoming a dentist, he was a mechanical drafting/designer and loved the technical side of building prototypes and seeing products fabricated. However, he disliked the lack of human interaction. Realizing he couldn’t continue to sit behind a computer all the time, he considered different career paths. After meeting with some friends who were in dental school, he decided he, too, should look into the field.
This led him to earn his dental degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Since then, he has completed many hours of continuing education and has certifications from the American Orthodontic Society and the Advanced Dental Implant Research & Education Center.
Dr. Cha has also completed several courses through SPEAR Education, specifically focused on restorative, cosmetic, and endodontic dentistry. He has also worked with pediatric dentists to refine his skills and treat children.
He is a current member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association.
When he’s not busy, Dr. Cha spends time with his wife of 20+ years, their one daughter, and two sons. They also have a Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix named Romeo. He enjoys photography, so you’ll often find him taking photos of landscapes and cityscapes during the golden hour or blue hour.

You can get to our dental office in McKinney by taking US-75 South to the North Central Expressway. Sometimes exiting onto Taylor Burk Drive and following North Hardin Boulevard can help you avoid traffic, but we’re located just off of US-380 West/University Drive, so you can also reach us by taking that exit.
